NAPKIN
Is this person right for you?
Ask your date to draw what love looks like on a napkin. Napkin reads it with you, then helps you decide.
From the founder
I had the answer on a napkin. I didn't listen.
It started on a first date. I asked him to draw me something. He laughed, and he drew.
That night I photographed it and asked AI to read it. The reading said: a lot of charm, feelings locked away, a heart that watches from a distance. It turned out to be true, almost word for word. I had the signs on the table and I chose not to see them.
Napkin is the app I wish I'd had that night. A little ritual for the first date, games for the next ones, and one honest question, asked early: is this person right for you?

Before your first date
Before we read them, we read you.
You draw what love looks like to you and answer four questions: what you want, what matters most, what you won't accept and what love looks like on a normal Tuesday. Every date is then measured against you, and nobody else.
Your portrait shows how you love, what you need, and the kind of person who suits you.

The reading
What a napkin can tell you.
A real first-date drawing. Tap a number.
Example reading
A big smile. A heart on watch.
Leans avoidant.
A reading, not a diagnosis. Napkin describes patterns and what to watch, never labels.
House rules
Elegant, kind and fair.
Four promises built into the app, for you and for the person across the table.
They know it's a game.
Your date always agrees to play. Napkin never reads a drawing in secret.
Patterns, never labels.
No diagnoses and no clinical words. Just what the drawing shows and what to watch.
A napkin is a first clue.
One drawing opens the conversation. Games, dates and your own notes complete it.
Private by design.
Drawings and notes stay on your phone. Nothing is posted or turned into a review of a real person.
Questions
Before you ask.
Does my date know about the reading?
Yes, always. Napkin is a game you play together. Your date agrees to draw, and the app only reads drawings from people who said yes. They can download Napkin and get their own reading too.
Is this science?
Napkin borrows from projective drawing tests, which psychologists have used for decades to open conversations about feelings. On their own they prove nothing, so Napkin never relies on one drawing. Your answer grows with games, dates and your own notes, and every reading shows what it is based on.
Will it tell me he's a narcissist?
No. Napkin never puts labels on people and never makes a diagnosis. It tells you what the drawing shows, what it may mean, and what to watch next time.
Where do the drawings go?
Your drawings, notes and readings stay on your phone. To write a reading, the drawing is sent to our AI, used for that reading only, and not kept.
Is Napkin only for women?
It was made by a woman, for women first. Anyone who dates is welcome.
How much will it cost?
Your first reading is free. After that, one membership covers unlimited dates, games and verdicts. Prices come with the launch.
When can I get it?
Napkin is coming soon to iPhone. Join the waitlist and we will email you once, on launch day.
